Modern
Short Film for The Aesthete(Trailer)
Modern traces the journey of an enraptured man and woman from the pastoral, ascetic existence of rural life to the apex of urbanity and back again. They travel through space and time, moving through the ages from a simpler, traditional America to the proliferation of the city, and the eruption of the urban metropolis that is New York. Through their eyes, the city is monumental and glorious; its momentum and power impossible to ignore. Written & Directed by Jon Beasley & Isabelle Albuquerque. Director of Photography: Bradford Young. Stylist: Natasha Royt. Music: Hecuba.

Artwork
Artwork in collaboration with Lita Albuquerque and Chandler McWilliams. The Beekeeper 28,141 – 1,407,057 series consists of six limited edition photographic prints that were installed at the Laguna Museum. The images were created using custom generative software that traces the paths of each pixel as it goes through the process of forming and unforming an image of a beekeeper. The works are based on the live computer generated work we previously created called Beekeeper.

Little Minx / RSA
Website
We created a new approach to an agency website for Little Minx. Using keyboard navigation and scrolling links, the user moves over a single chalkboard surface to explore the site. Individual projects can be added to the "Favorites" section on the chalkboard where personal collections can be shared. The iPad version utilizes the pinch and swoosh gestures to glide over the chalkboard, or zoom out to a bird's eye view. Art Direction & Design: Jon Beasley & Isabelle Albuquerque. Development: Richard Caceres.

This site (created for a line of ACB accessories) utilized full screen images to evoke the classic beauty and refined S & M undertones throughout the collection. We photographed both a male and female model wearing ACB works, focusing on the body and the materials of the pieces while blurring the two physiques together. Art direction, photography and design: Jon Beasley & Isabelle Albuquerque. Development: Jon Beasley.

Hecuba Paradise
Album
Hecuba Paradise
Album, Remix EP's, Artwork
For Hecuba's Paradise album, we drew upon the Greek reference in the name, and the title Paradise suggested to us the ruins of the statue city of Pompeii. We combined these ideas and decided we needed broken statues of the two members of Hecuba, presented like Greek busts recovered from a ruin with only their heads remaining. So, we set about sculpting and breaking, and ended up with "Paradise." The photographs of these sculptures carried over into the web identity for the album, and the disappearing idea from Pompeii extended into the "Lost Hecuba" spread of their costumes floating in a green ocean in the album's booklet. Art direction, sculpture, photography and design: Jon Beasley & Isabelle Albuquerque.

Hecuba Suffering
Film & Production Artwork
For Hecuba's Suffering video, we created a film referencing the world of early Kenneth Anger films – complete with custom-studded leather, codpieces, bikes & hotrods, greasy bedrooms and seedy backrooms. We added the female element with our cast of gorgeous girls and tipped our hat to a few other 50′s sexual icons. Written by Jon Beasley & Isabelle Albuquerque. Directed by Jon Beasley & Isaiah Seret. Cinematography by Arthur Jaffa. Artwork by Jon Beasley. Set photography by Lauren Dukoff.

Beekeeper
Generative Artwork, Artist's Book
Beekeeper
Generative Artwork, Artist's Book
Beekeeper is a software-driven generative digital work made in collaboration with artists Lita Albuquerque and Chandler McWilliams for the Weisman Museum. Each pixel of a beekeeper's body travels out into the space surrounding it, choosing its own path as it travels. Eventually, the particles reach an equilibrium in space, then they begin plotting their course back to create the beekeeper-artwork again. The Installation of Beekeeper was as dual projections that "lived" for the duration of the exhibition, never repeating the same movement twice.
